Section 100 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 199939 (local authority and other assistance for Secretary of State) is amended as follows.

In subsection (1) after paragraph (a) insert—

a private registered provider of social housing,

In subsection (3) after “does not require” insert “a private registered provider of social housing or”.
