In section 20 of the Northern Ireland Act 199834 (Executive Committee) after subsection (4) insert—

“(5)

Subsections (3) and (4) are subject to subsection (6).

(6)

Quasi-judicial decisions may be made by the Department of Justice or the Minister in charge of that Department without recourse to the Executive Committee.”
