SCHEDULE 3 Amendments relating to policing

Police (Northern Ireland) Act 1998

25.  In section 45(1) (research and advice)—

(a) in subsection (1)—

(i) for “Secretary of State” substitute “Department of Justice”, and

(ii) for “him” substitute “the Department of Justice”; and

(b) in subsection (2)—

(i) for “Secretary of State” substitute “Department of Justice”, and

(ii) for “him” (in both places) substitute “the Department of Justice”.
