54.  In section 27(1) (codes of practice on exercise of functions by Policing Board and Chief Constable)— U.K.

(a) in subsections (1), (2) and (2A) (in both places) for “Secretary of State” substitute “Department of Justice”; and

(b) in subsection (3)—

(i) for “Secretary of State” substitute “Department of Justice”; and

(ii) for “he” substitute “the Department of Justice”.
