(a)in subsection (3) for “Secretary of State” substitute “Department of Justice”;
(b)in subsection (4)—
(i)for “Secretary of State” substitute “Department of Justice”;
(ii)for “each House of Parliament” substitute “the Northern Ireland Assembly”; and
(iii)for “him” substitute “the Department of Justice”; and
(c)after subsection (4) insert—
“(5) Section 41(3) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(1) applies for the purposes of subsection (4) in relation to the laying of a report as it applies in relation to the laying of a statutory document under an enactment.”
