Manufacturers and their authorised representatives
16.
(1)
The F1... declaration of conformity must state that it has been demonstrated that the essential safety requirements have been satisfied in relation to the toy.
(2)
The F1... declaration of conformity must also—
(a)
include the information, and follow the structure, set out in F2Schedule 3; and
(b)
include any information required to be included by any Module which was followed in relation to the toy.
(3)
The F1... declaration of conformity may contain further information.
(4)
The manufacturer must keep up to date the F1... declaration of conformity drawn up in relation to a toy.

(6)
By drawing up the F1... declaration of conformity, the manufacturer assumes responsibility for the compliance of the toy.
16.
(1)
The EC declaration of conformity must state that it has been demonstrated that the essential safety requirements have been satisfied in relation to the toy.
(2)
The EC declaration of conformity must also—
(a)
include the information, and follow the structure, set out in Annex III to the Directive; and
(b)
include any information required to be included by any Module which was followed in relation to the toy.
(3)
The EC declaration of conformity may contain further information.
(4)
The manufacturer must keep up to date the EC declaration of conformity drawn up in relation to a toy.
(5)
Where the EC declaration of conformity drawn up in relation to a toy which is made available on the market in the United Kingdom was drawn up in a language other than English, the manufacturer must translate the EC declaration of conformity into English.
(6)
By drawing up the EC declaration of conformity, the manufacturer assumes responsibility for the compliance of the toy.
