A UK notified body must participate in F2, or ensure that its personnel who are responsible for carrying out the conformity assessment activities are informed of, the work of each relevant sectoral group of notified bodies put in place by the European Commission in accordance with Article 38 of the Directive (coordination of notified bodies).

A UK notified body may participate by means of a representative designated by it to participate on its behalf.
