The maximum amount of maintenance grant available to a current system student who is not a F13... 2009, 2012 or 2016 cohort student in respect of an academic year is F7£3,680.

A current system student F5other than a F12... 2009, 2012 or 2016 cohort student who qualifies for a maintenance grant in respect of an academic year receives an amount as follows in respect of that year—

a

where the household income is £18,360 or less, the student receives F8£3,680;

b

where the household income exceeds £18,360 but does not exceed F9£39,593, the student receives an amount equal toM(A+B)math where—

M is F9£3,680

A is £1 for every complete F9£4.71 by which the household income exceeds £18,360 but does not exceed F6£28,111;

B is £1 for every complete F9£7.36 by which the household income exceeds F6£28,111 but does not exceed F9£39,593;

c

where the household income exceeds F10£39,593, no maintenance grant is payable.
