CHAPTER 7E+WSPECIAL SUPPORT GRANTS FOR CURRENT SYSTEM STUDENTS

65.—[F2(1) The maximum amount of special support grant available to a current system student who is not a 2008, 2009, 2012 or 2016 cohort student in respect of an academic year is [F3£3,299].]

(5) A current system student [F6other than a 2008, 2009, 2012 or 2016 cohort student] who qualifies for a special support grant in respect of an academic year receives an amount as follows in respect of that year—
(a)where the household income is £18,360 or less, the student receives [F7£3,299];
(b)where the household income exceeds £18,360 but does not exceed [F8£39,571], the student receives an amount equal to
M is [F9£3,299]
A is £1 for every complete [F9£5.24] by which the household income exceeds £18,360 but does not exceed [F10£28,082];
B is £1 for every complete [F9£8.24] by which the household income exceeds [F10£28,082] but does not exceed [F8£39,571];
(c)where the household income exceeds [F11£39,571], no special support grant is payable.
