Subject to Chapter 4 of this Part and paragraph (5), where the student's household income exceeds £50,778, the maximum amount of loan for living costs for which a student to whom this regulation applies qualifies in respect of an academic year other than the final year of a course that is not an intensive course is equal toXYmath where—

      for a student in category A, F3£5,117;

    2. (ii)

      for a student in category B, F4£9,234;

    3. (iii)

      for a student in category C, F5£7,856;

    4. (iv)

      for a student in category D, F6£6,599;

  • Subject to paragraph (4), Y is £1 for every complete F7£3.81 by which the household income exceeds £50,778.

Subject to Chapter 4 of this Part and paragraph (5), where the student's household income exceeds £50,778, the maximum amount of loan for living costs for which a student to whom this regulation applies qualifies in respect of an academic year that is the final year of a course that is not an intensive course is equal toXYmath where—

  2. (ii)

  3. (iii)

    for a student in category C, F10£6,832;

  4. (iv)

Subject to paragraph (4), Y is £1 for every complete F12£3.81 by which the household income exceeds £50,778.XYmath where—

Where the same household income is used to assess the amount of a statutory award for which two or more persons qualify, Y in paragraphs (2) and (3) must be divided by the number of such persons before being deducted from X.

Where the maximum amount of loan for living costs is calculated in accordance with paragraph (2) or (3) and is less than the minimum level for the academic year specified in regulation 105, the minimum level for the academic year is payable.

Subject to Chapter 4 of this Part, where the student's household income exceeds F13£50,717 but does not exceed £50,778, the maximum amount of loan for living costs for which a student to whom this regulation applies qualifies in respect of an academic year other than the final year of a course that is not an intensive course is—

(a)

for a student in category A, F14£5,117;

(b)

for a student in category B, F15£9,234;

(c)

for a student in category C, F16£7,856;

(d)

for a student in category D, F17£6,599.

Subject to Chapter 4 of this Part, where the student's household income exceeds F18£50,717 but does not exceed £50,778, the maximum amount of loan for living costs for which a student to whom this regulation applies qualifies in respect of an academic year that is the final year of a course that is not an intensive course is—

(a)

for a student in category A, F19£4,641;

(b)

for a student in category B, F20£8,407;

(c)

for a student in category C, F21£6,832;

(d)

for a student in category D, F22£6,106.

Subject to Chapter 4 of this Part, where the student's household income is F23£50,717 or less, the maximum amount of loan for living costs for which a student to whom this regulation applies qualifies in respect of an academic year other than the final year of a course that is not an intensive course is equal to X–Y where—

    3. (iii)
