This Order brings into force sections 24 to 30 of the Crime and Security Act 2010 for a period from 7th October 2011 to 29th June 2012 for the purpose of assessing the effectiveness of the provisions by way of regional pilots.
The Crime and Security Act (Domestic Violence: Pilot Schemes) Order 2011 brought these sections into force for a period of 12 months from 30th June 2011 to 29th June 2012 for the purpose of three regional pilots in Greater Manchester, Wiltshire and West Mercia.
