The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Police Act 19961, makes the following Regulations.
In accordance with section 60(4) of that Act, the Secretary of State has consulted the three Central Committees of the Police Federation for England and Wales sitting together as a Joint Committee.
