Amendment of article 17 E+W+S

18.  In article 17—

(a) renumber the provision as paragraph (1), and

(b) after paragraph (1), insert—

“(2) This article does not apply to the landing or attempted landing of an animal subject to Article 5 of the Pets Regulation brought directly into Great Britain from a place in the Republic of Ireland.”.
