3.  In these Regulations—

the 1979 Act” means the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979 M1;

the 2008 Order” means the Export Control Order 2008 M2;

EU authorisation” means an authorisation granted under Article 4 of the Sudan and South Sudan Regulation;

the Sudan and South Sudan Regulation” means Council Regulation (EC) No 131/2004 imposing certain restrictive measures in respect of Sudan and South Sudan M3.
