Interpretation

3.  In these Regulations—

“the 1979 Act” means the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979(1);

“the 2008 Order” means the Export Control Order 2008(2);

“EU authorisation” means an authorisation granted under Article 4 of the Sudan and South Sudan Regulation;

“the Sudan and South Sudan Regulation” means Council Regulation (EC) No 131/2004 imposing certain restrictive measures in respect of Sudan and South Sudan(3).
