SCHEDULE 2 Further modifications having effect until the coming into force of section 1of the 2011 Act

6.  In Schedule 11—

(a) paragraph 2(8)(b) has the effect of omitting only paragraph (b) of the definition of “police authority” in section 5(5) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998(1);

(b) paragraph 5(5) has effect as if the new subsection (4)(a) inserted in section 7 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 read—

“(a) if the area (or any part of it) falls within a police area listed in Schedule 1 to the 1996 Act, the police authority,”.
