1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Mutual Societies (Electronic Communications) Order 2011 and comes into force on 12th April 2011.
(2) In this Order—
“the 1965 Act” means the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965(1);
“the 1968 Act” means the Friendly and Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1968(2);
“the 1974 Act” means the Friendly Societies Act 1974(3);
“the 1986 Act” means the Building Societies Act 1986(4);
“the 1992 Act” means the Friendly Societies Act 1992(5).
