Schedule 162 (the Boards and the holding company) is amended as follows.

In paragraph 6—
a
in sub-paragraph (2), for “Any member appointed by the Minister” substitute “A member of any Board other than the British Waterways Board”;
b
for sub-paragraph (3) substitute—

Any member of the British Waterways Board may at any time by notice in writing to the Scottish Ministers resign that member’s office.

In paragraph 7(1A), omit “made by the Scottish Ministers”.

In paragraph 8(1A), omit “appointed by the Scottish Ministers”.
