The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(4) of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 19841, makes the following Regulations.
Citation and commencement1.
These Regulations may be cited as the National Police Records (Recordable Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and shall come into force on 30th July 2012.
Amendment of the National Police Records (Recordable Offences) Regulations 20002.

The Schedule to the National Police Records (Recordable Offences) Regulations 20002 is amended as follows.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Police National Records (Recordable Offences) Regulations 2000 to make offences contrary to sections 51A and 53A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (soliciting and paying for sexual services of a prostitute subjected to force) recordable offences.
