The Secretary of State is a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 M1 in relation to: market surveillance M2; measures relating to apparatus which is liable to cause electromagnetic disturbance and to apparatus the performance of which is liable to be affected by such disturbance M3; measures relating to general product safety M4; measures relating to safety as regards personal protective equipment M5; and pyrotechnic articles M6.
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972.
