The Local Elections (Parishes and Communities) (England and Wales) Rules 2006 M1 are amended as follows.

(2)

In rule 2 (interpretation)—

(a)

in paragraph (1), after the definition of “petition organiser” insert—

““police and crime commissioner election” means an election of a police and crime commissioner in accordance with Chapter 6 of Part 1 of the 2011 Act;”;

(b)

in paragraph (2), in the definition of “relevant election or referendum”, after paragraph (e) insert—

“(f)

a police and crime commissioner election,”.
