Citation and commencement1

These Regulations may be cited as the Police (Amendment) Regulations 2012.

These Regulations come into force on 23rd February 2012 and have effect from that date, save that2—
a
regulations 3 and 7 (with the exception of regulation 7(4)) have effect from 1st April 2003;
b
regulations 4(1) and (2), 5 and 6 have effect from 6th April 2006;
c
regulation 4(3) has effect from 5th October 2008.
