The Education Act 2011 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2012
Made
The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 82(3) and (7) of the Education Act 20111.
In accordance with section 82(5) of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted the Welsh Ministers.
Citation and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Education Act 2011 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2012.

In this Order “EA 2011” means the Education Act 2011.
Provisions coming into force on 1st September 20122
The following provisions of EA 2011 come into force on 1st September 2012—
in Schedule 11, paragraph 2 so far as it relates to a new school that is a pupil referral unit, and section 37 and paragraph 1 to the extent that they relate to that paragraph.
Provisions coming into force on 1st October 20123
The following provisions of EA 2011 come into force on 1st October 2012—
section 13 and Schedule 4.
Provision coming into force on 1st August 20134
The following provision of EA 2011 comes into force on 1st August 2013—
section 73 to the extent that it is not already in force.
Provision coming into force on 1st September 20135
The following provision of EA 2011 comes into force on 1st September 2013—
section 1 to the extent that it is not already in force.
