POLICE, ENGLAND AND WALES
This Order specifies the forms of declaration of acceptance of office for persons elected to the office of police and crime commissioner for a police area in England or a police area in Wales. The declaration must be made within two months of election.

The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 70(1)(a) and 154(5)(a) and (c) of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 20111 as extended by section 26(3) of the Welsh Language Act 19932.
