7.—(1) The repeal of sections 131B to 131D of the Act does not affect the liability of any person to provide disclosure of a disclosable short position for the purposes of the Financial Stability and Market Confidence Sourcebook Instrument 2010(1) where—

(a)that person held the disclosable short position before 1st November 2012, and

(b)disclosure is due to be provided on 1st November 2012.

(2) In this regulation, “disclosure” has the meaning given by Financial Stability and Market Confidence Sourcebook Instrument 2010 and “disclosable short position” has the meaning given by the Short Selling Instrument 2008(2).
