Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25(1), 272(7) and 273(1) of, and paragraph 28(1) of Schedule 4 to, the National Health Service Act 20061.

The Secretary of State for Health makes this Order on the application of the Oxfordshire Learning Disability National Health Service Trust, following the consultation prescribed under paragraph 28(3) of Schedule 42 to the Act3.

Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Oxfordshire Learning Disability National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 2012 and comes into force on 1st November 2012.

The Oxfordshire Learning Disability National Health Service Trust is dissolved.

The Oxfordshire Learning Disability National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 19924 is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order provides for the dissolution on 1st November 2012 of the Oxfordshire Learning Disability National Health Service Trust established on 4th November 1992 and revokes the Oxfordshire Learning Disability National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992 that established the trust.
