Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 12(2), (3) and (4), 13(2), (6) and (4), 16, 16A1 and 25(2), (3) and (5) of the Welfare Reform Act 20072 and sections 10(6) and 79(4) and (6) of the Social Security Act 19983 after agreement by the Social Security Advisory Committee that proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it4.
