Amendment of the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (England) Order 2006

8.  In the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (England) Order 2006(1), in article 59 (enforcement), after paragraph (3) add—

“(4) For the purposes of paragraph (2) or where the Secretary of State makes a direction under paragraph (3), the Secretary of State may delegate to the Director of Public Prosecutions functions in relation to the prosecution of an offence under section 73 of the Act relating to this Order.”.
