8.  Nothing in these Regulations affects the application of [F1 retained EU law] as regards requirements in relation to—

(a) safety and health;

(b) chemicals, in particular as set out in Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals(1); and

(c) specific [F2 retained EU law on waste management].

(c) specific EU waste management legislation.
