8. Nothing in these Regulations affects the application of existing EU legislation or legislation giving effect to EU legislation as regards requirements in relation to—
(a)safety and health;
(b)chemicals, in particular as set out in Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals(1); and
(c)specific EU waste management legislation.
