21.—(1) This Part makes provision in relation to the making and withdrawal of determinations under section 9 of the Act about Controlled Work.

(2) In this Part, “Controlled Work” means the provision of any of the following forms of civil legal services—

(a)legal help;

(b)help with family mediation;

(c)help at court;

(d)family help (lower); or

(e)legal representation for proceedings in—

(i)the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal M1 under the Mental Health Act 1983 M2 or paragraph 5(2) of the Schedule to the Repatriation of Prisoners Act 1984 M3;

(ii)the Mental Health Review Tribunal for Wales M4; [F1or]

(iii)the Immigration and Asylum Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal M5 [F2, other than in relation to an application for permission to appeal to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber of the Upper Tribunal.]F3...
