EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order gives effect to the London Borough of Bexley Permit Scheme.
The London Borough of Bexley Permit Scheme is designed to control the carrying out of works in specified streets in Bexley by imposing an obligation to obtain a permit from the London Borough of Bexley before undertaking the works.
Article 3 gives effect to the permit scheme, which will come into effect on 18th February 2013. The permit scheme referred to in this article is set out in the Schedule to the Order.
Article 4 applies Part 8 of the Traffic Management Permit Scheme (England) Regulations 2007 (which makes provision for the disapplication and modification of enactments in relation to specified works in specified streets) to the specified works and specified streets within the London Borough of Bexley Permit Scheme.
A copy of the London Borough of Bexley Permit Scheme is deposited and can be inspected at the offices of the London Borough of Bexley, Bexley Civic Offices, Broadway, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB and is available to inspect on the Borough’s website www.Bexley.gov.uk.
