The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 550ZA(4B)(b) and 569(4) of the Education Act 1996(1).

1996 c. 56. Section 550ZA was inserted by section 242(1) of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (c. 22) and amended by section 2 of the Education Act 2011 (“the 2011 Act”) (c. 21). For the meaning of “regulations” see section 579(1) of the Education Act 1996 (“the 1996 Act”).
