In the Housing Act 199671, in section 81 (restriction on termination of tenancy for failure to pay service charge)—
a
in subsections (1)(a) and (5A), for “a leasehold valuation tribunal”, substitute “the appropriate tribunal”;
b
after subsection (6) insert—

For the purposes of this section, “appropriate tribunal” means—
a
in relation to premises in England, the First-tier Tribunal or, where determined by or under Tribunal Procedure Rules, the Upper Tribunal; and
b
in relation to premises in Wales, a leasehold valuation tribunal.
