In the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 M1—

a

in regulation 1(2) omit the definitions “the Directive”, “European technical approval” and “harmonized standard”; and

b

in regulation 4—

i

in paragraph (2)—

aa

in sub-paragraph (a) for “the Directive” substitute “ Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and repealing Council Directive 89/106/EECM2 ”, and

bb

omit sub-paragraph (b); and

ii

in paragraph (6)(a) for “European technical approval” substitute “ European Technical Assessment within the meaning of the Regulation mentioned in paragraph (2)(a) ”.
