Action on receipt of request in relation to an external investigationE+W+N.I.
4.—(1) The Secretary of State may refer to the Director General of NCA [F1, a relevant Director, F2... the FCA, the Commissioners for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs or an enforcement authority] a request for assistance in relation to an external investigation.
(2) The Director General of NCA [F3, a relevant Director, F4... the FCA, the Commissioners for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs or an enforcement authority] may on receipt of the request for assistance act under this Part.
