Amendments to the 2001 Franchise Regulations

5.  In the Schedule to the 2001 Franchise Regulations (application with modifications of the Representation of the People Act 1983 etc)(1), in Part 1, after the entry in the table for section 13A (alteration of registers)—

(a) in column 1 (provision applied) insert—

“Section 13AB (alteration of registers: interim publication dates)”; and

(b) in column 2 (modification) insert—

“For subsection (8) substitute—

“(8) This section applies to elections to the European Parliament in England, Wales and Scotland.””
