Amendment of the State Pension Credit Regulations (Northern Ireland) 200323

The State Pension Credit Regulations (Northern Ireland) 200369 are amended as follows.

In regulation 1(2) (citation, commencement and interpretation) after the definition of “the appointed day” insert—
“armed forces independence payment” means armed forces independence payment under the Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) Order 2011;

In regulation 15(1) (income for the purposes of the Act) after sub-paragraph (a) insert—

armed forces independence payment;

In Schedule 1 (circumstances in which persons are treated as being or not being severely disabled)—

in paragraph 1 (severe disablement)70—
i
in sub-paragraph (1)(a)(i) after “in receipt of” insert “armed forces independence payment,”;
ii
in sub-paragraph (1)(b)(i) after “in receipt of” insert “armed forces independence payment,”;
