23.—(1) A producer or authorised representative [F1must] mark EEE that he puts on the market in such a manner that the equipment can be easily identified as having been placed on the market after 13th August 2005 (“the date mark”).
(2) The date mark [F1must] be affixed in a visible, legible and indelible form to each item of equipment.
