45.—(1) The Banking Act 2009 M1 is amended as follows.
(2) In section 14(5)(b) M2 (interpretation: “securities”) for the words from “section 1” to the end of that paragraph substitute “ Title 1 of Part 2 of Regulation (EU) No. 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council. ”
(3) In section 258A(1) M3 (“investment firm”) for “Directive 2006/49/EC on the capital adequacy of investment firms and credit institutions” substitute “ Regulation (EU) No. 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council. ”.
