Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Scotland Act 1998 (Agency Arrangements) (Specification) Order 2013 and comes into force on 6th April 2014.

This Order does not extend to Northern Ireland.

In this Order—
“animal feed” means any substance or product, including additives, whether processed, partially processed or unprocessed, intended to be used for oral feeding to animals; and
“official controls” means any form of control performed for the purpose of ensuring compliance with food, animal feed, animal health and animal welfare rules established under EU instruments.
Specification of functions2
The functions of the Scottish Ministers listed in the Schedule are specified for the purposes of section 93(1) of the Scotland Act 1998.
Revocation3
The Scotland Act 1998 (Agency Arrangements) (Specification) Order 20082 is revoked.
