The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 83, 85, 86(4), 88, 89, 90, 91, 93, 94, 97(6), 259 and 272(7) and (8) of the National Health Service Act 2006(1).
2006. c.41. By virtue of section 271(1) of the Act, the powers conferred by these sections are exercisable by the Secretary of State only in relation to England. Section 83 is amended by section 55(1) of, and paragraph 30 of Schedule 4 to, the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (c.7) (“the 2012 Act”); section 86 is amended by section 55(1) of, and paragraph 32 of Schedule 4 to, the 2012 Act; section 89 is amended by sections 28(1), 55(1) and 202(2) of, and paragraph 34 of Schedule 4 to, the 2012 Act; section 91 is amended by section 55(1) of, and paragraph 35 of Schedule 4 to, the 2012 Act; section 93 is amended by sections 55(1) and 202(3) of, and paragraph 37 of Schedule 4 to, the 2012 Act; section 94 is amended by sections 28(2) and 55(1) of, and paragraph 38 of Schedule 4 to, the 2012 Act; section 97 is amended by section 55(1) of, and paragraph 41 of Schedule 4 to, the 2012 Act and section 259 is amended by section 55(1) of, and paragraph 132 of Schedule 4 to, the 2012 Act.
