77. The National Health Service Pension Scheme (Additional Voluntary Contributions) Regulations 2000(1) are amended in accordance with this Part.
78. In paragraph (1) of regulation 2 (interpretation), at the appropriate place in the alphabetical order, insert—
““selected authorised provider” means an authorised provider selected by the Secretary of State including an authorised provider to whom contracts of insurance are transferred as part of an insurance business transfer scheme for the purposes of Part VII of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000(2).”.
79. In paragraph (4A)(3) of regulation 4 (payment and amount of additional voluntary contributions), in the definition of “employer”, omit “Trust or”.
80. In paragraph (1)(4) of regulation 15 (payments by the Secretary of State), after “authorised provider” insert “or a selected authorised provider”.
