Relaxation of the Education (School Day and School Year) (England) Regulations 1999

2. In respect of the application of regulation 3(2) of the Education (School Day and School Year) (England) Regulations 1999(1) to the Schools, in relation to the 2012-2013 school year(2), for “380” substitute “378”.

S.I.1999/3181, to which there are amendments but none are relevant to this instrument.

“school year” is defined in regulation 2 of S.I.1999/3181. Also see section 579(1) of the Education Act 1996 (1996 c.56), as amended by section 57(1) of, and paragraph 43 of Schedule 7 to, the Education Act 1997 (1997 c.44).
