Application of this Part

6.  This Part applies to criminal proceedings—

(a)in respect of an offence for which an individual may be, or has been, sent or committed by a magistrates’ court for trial at the Crown Court;

(b)which may be, or have been, transferred from a magistrates’ court for trial at the Crown Court;

(c)in respect of which a bill of indictment has been preferred by virtue of section 2(2)(b) of the Administration of Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1933(1); or

(d)which are to be heard in the Crown Court following an order by the Court of Appeal or the Supreme Court for a retrial.
