SCHEDULE 2 U.K. Amendments of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965

9.—(1) Section 55(1) (dissolution of society) is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In subsection (1)(b)(iii), for “Authority” substitute “appropriate authority”.

(3) In subsection (1B)—

(a) for paragraph (a), substitute—

“(a) fees paid to the FCA;

(aa) fees paid to the PRA;”; and

(b) in the closing words of that subsection, for “Authority” substitute “FCA”.

(4) In subsection (1C), for “Authority”, in each place, substitute “appropriate authority”.

(5) In subsection (2)(a), for “Authority” substitute “FCA”.

(6) In subsection (3), for “Authority” substitute “FCA and, if the registered society is a PRA-authorised person, the PRA”.
