The Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations 1996 are modified as follows.

In regulation 4 (interpretation of Parts 2, 4 and 5)215, in the definition of “part-time member of a fire brigade” for “a fire and rescue authority” to second “Act” substitute “the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service”.

In regulation 53(d)(ib) (persons treated as not engaged in remunerative work)216, for “a fire” to second “Act” substitute “the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service”.

In paragraph 9(1)(ab) of Schedule 6 (sums to be disregarded in the calculation of earnings)217, for “a fire” to second “Act” substitute “the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service”.
