Incineration of waste in Work No. 1 must not take place except in accordance with the Residual Waste Acceptance Scheme dated 8 July 2011.

On a date no later than the anniversary of the commencement of incineration of waste in Work No. 1 in each year, a written report in respect of a review of the effectiveness of the scheme must be submitted to Central Bedfordshire Council for approval in writing together with proposals for such revised, additional or substituted measures as appear to be necessary.

Following approval of the alterations to the scheme by Central Bedfordshire Council incineration of waste in Work No. 1 must take place in accordance with the altered scheme.

The purpose of altering the scheme is to ensure that the scheme continues to address changes in waste management, and that Work No. 1 is used only for the incineration of residual waste.
