In this Schedule—

• “authorised officer” means—

  1. a

     a commissioned officer of the armed forces of the Territory,

  2. b

     a police or customs officer of the Territory, or

  3. c

     a person authorised by the Governor for the purposes of this Schedule, whether generally or in a particular case;

• “high seas” means seas that are not within the seaward limits of—

  1. a

     the territorial sea of the Territory, or

  2. b

     the territorial sea adjacent to a State or territory outside the Territory;

• “justice of the peace” includes other competent judicial authorities within the Territory responsible for granting search warrants.
