The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 57(1) to (3) and 61B(1)(d) of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994(1).
In determining the amount of the fees specified in these Regulations, the Secretary of State has taken into account the costs of the functions listed in paragraph 42 of Schedule 1 to the Department for Transport (Fees) Order 2009(2) and has taken into account the matters listed in Schedule 2 to that Order in determining the costs of those functions.
